Cybersecurity awareness game

Traditional cybersecurity training often lacks the urgency and realism defense teams need. Cyber Crime Game changes the game. It turns awareness into a hands-on, mission-based simulation tailored for the armed forces.

One of the most dangerous threats? “Commander fraud.” Using deepfake technology and AI-powered voice phishing (vishing), attackers impersonate high-ranking officers. One message can lead to unauthorized data transfer, the wrong tactical decision, or compromised operations.

The Game

In Cyber Crime Game, you become the attacker. Your mission: infiltrate your own defense unit for ransom. You manipulate your team, exploit operational blind spots, and simulate high-pressure decisions—within a secure, controlled environment.

The game consists of 8 modular levels and a final awareness exam, fully customized to reflect defense-specific challenges. Here are four example levels:

  • #1 – Reconnaissance & Research: How much intelligence can be gathered through open sources? From LinkedIn to press releases and deployment photos—how exposed is your unit?
  • #3 – Phishing: An email from “[email protected]” asks for urgent clearance confirmation. It looks official. Can your personnel tell the difference?
  • #6 – Command & Control: Tailgating is simulated using real visuals of your base or facility. A disguised intruder enters unnoticed during shift change. Would anyone spot it?
  • #7 – Actions on objectives: A deepfake voice recording from central command demands immediate file access. Would your team verify—or execute under pressure?

“The topic comes to life. Because it’s an interactive game, you become much more engaged with the material than you would with a one-sided presentation. The game is easy to play, immerses you in a (for me) unfamiliar world, and offers great insight into how hackers operate. We’re more predictable than we think, and there’s more information about you out there than you realize—it’s good to be aware of this.” Thijs & Roel Driessen Ezzy’s – Company Directors

I can admit that I ended up completing the entire game in one evening on the couch, with my partner watching along—who immediately booked it for his company. It’s incredibly well-designed. I now understand the dangers of cybercrime and am genuinely 100 times more alert.” Samira Ramshai Cibdol – CEO

“My field is communication and word-of-mouth marketing. There’s no doubt this will win awards in 2025 and spread like wildfire across the world. But the moment the popcorn buckets, filled and ready, were placed on their desks, it was showtime. Everyone completed the game that very same day! Awareness in just 2 hours: ideal. And even now, it’s still a weekly topic in the break room. Truly impressive—compliments to you!” Yuri Bartels Snowlife – CEO
“I think the phases are well-structured, and the storytelling is fantastic in combination with the games and tasks. Truly awesome and groundbreaking. Many companies and organizations will benefit from and enjoy this.” Anke van de Klundert Brand Bakery – Digital Communication Specialist
