Traditional cybersecurity training is often uninspiring and static, resulting in low engagement and minimal impact. A cybersecurity game, on the other hand, offers a realistic, interactive, and immersive learning experience that equips municipal employees with the skills to recognize threats and respond proactively.

One of the most serious threats is CEO fraud, where cybercriminals impersonate high-ranking officials, such as the mayor, using deepfake technology and AI-driven voice phishing (vishing). These attacks manipulate employees into approving fraudulent transactions or disclosing confidential information, leading to financial losses, data breaches, and reputational damage.

The Game

Cyber Crime Game consists of 8 levels and a final exam. Below, we highlight a few levels, including customization and personalization to tailor them to your municipality.

#1 – Reconnaissance & Research: You’ll conduct an investigation into your direct colleagues at the municipality. Why? Everyone leaves behind a digital footprint—on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms. How much can you uncover about them?
#3 – Phishing: We utilize email addresses from your direct colleagues, such as joris@your-municipality.com, embedding everyday requests to deceive municipal employees.
#6 – Command & Control: We bring tailgating to life with realistic visuals of your actual workplace, seamlessly integrating the building and office spaces where you and your colleagues work daily.
#7 – Actions on objectives: Your municipality’s mayor is brought to life using AI and deepfake technology. Will your colleagues recognize the deception, or will they trust the message?
